P\u00e9rez<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1cbfbaed elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1cbfbaed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La Sra. P\u00e9rez estaba intrigada por primera vez con la ley de inmigraci\u00f3n cuando todav\u00eda era estudiante de derecho en la Facultad de Derecho de la UCLA. Mientras participaba en una Cl\u00ednica de Defensa Criminal se le dio la oportunidad de defender a su primer cliente, un taquero que estaba siendo atacado por ticketeros que implementaban un C\u00f3digo Municipal de la Ciudad de Los \u00c1ngeles que prohib\u00eda el estacionamiento de camiones de almuerzo (o taco) que se estacionaban m\u00e1s de una hora en \u00e1reas comerciales y media hora en \u00e1reas residenciales. Con la ayuda de su profesor y socio cl\u00ednico, la Sra. P\u00e9rez se hizo cargo de la Ciudad de Los \u00c1ngeles y logr\u00f3 anular la ordenanza general e inconstitucional, permitiendo que los camiones de almuerzo operen sin el impedimento de estas sanciones cuasi criminales impuestas por la Ciudad. Esta cl\u00ednica condujo a una relaci\u00f3n con la Asociaci\u00f3n de Loncheros, cuyos miembros hablaron con ella sobre los desaf\u00edos adicionales que muchos de ellos enfrentaron como miembros indocumentados de la comunidad. La Sra. P\u00e9rez asumi\u00f3 un puesto en una firma de inmigraci\u00f3n bien establecida y esa oportunidad se convirti\u00f3 en su primer trabajo oficial como abogada. En 2013, la Sra. P\u00e9rez comenz\u00f3 su propia firma y desde entonces ha estado practicando en todas las \u00e1reas de la ley de inmigraci\u00f3n. Se especializa en defensa de deportaci\u00f3n, con especial \u00e9nfasis en detenidos y no ciudadanos con antecedentes penales extensos. La Sra. P\u00e9rez ampli\u00f3 su pr\u00e1ctica para incluir mociones de defensa criminal y alivio posterior a la condena para los no ciudadanos. La Sra. P\u00e9rez representa a clientes en todo Estados Unidos y que provienen de Am\u00e9rica del Sur, Am\u00e9rica Central, M\u00e9xico, \u00c1frica, Canad\u00e1, Europa y Medio Oriente.
